I will give you the TL;DR since the whole story is a bit political. If you want the whole story a quick google search of "Patreon Owen Lawsuit" should get you the info.

Patreon as a company is facing serious legal action. They are responsible for paying arbitration cost up front, which is $10000 per case, and they have about 100+ cases against them at the moment. The number of cases could grow into the thousands. When you add on the cost of arbitration, lawyers and all the assorted fees, they could go bankrupt before a single case goes to court.

I am going to ask all of you to stay the course as of right now on Patreon, but prepare just in case. Find out where ALL of your creators are at on social media and what other sites they use for funding. This would obviously affect every creator, not just me.

I'm not here to say who is in the right on this one, I'm here to make a game. I will keep making it, so long as I have people interested and willing to help fund it. Below is a list of sites you can find me on.

EDIT: I just talked to ZnelArts, the Villain Simulator guy. He has seen comments from Patreon saying not to worry, they will be fine. Whether truth or PR, it's still a situation you should be prepared for if the worst should happen.
