It's been a crazy busy week 'cuz the cosmos decided this last weekend would pile together holidays and events, but anyways that's just how things go.  More importantly though, that appears to be a common trajectory for the next few months just as well.

A lot of interesting developments and such started to pop up and in part forced me to have a bit of a sit-down and think, and discuss a number of matters with a select few people, and ultimately the end result is there's gonna have to be a big gear-shift.  With a series of goals and potential big long-term chances on the horizon, the reality is apparent that I had to evaluate the overall role and value of the monthly polls, and in order to realistically position myself for the bigger things, I had to come to a decision that the fanart polls will have to end.

Obviously I recognize that's a not-insignificant part of why some of you are here, and I can't really simply replace with something else.  But when all things are considered, I have to weigh the essential fact that, if counted for the whole year, that's 27 pieces still remaining with any % from 100-to-0 that also align with me, vs that same investment put towards personal work, projects or commissions that are more reflective and/or push the long-term development and career dial forward, and moreso return fanart to being a result of impulse amidst the rest. Consequently when it's all considered, though it'll also be a hit to income, the long-term potential strongly outweighs the short-term benefits.

That all said, while the more productive approach would be to end now, especially in light of my current schedule and to-do list of comms, fanart and projects that need to resolve before Anthrocon at the end of next month, I intend to complete everything and continue through at least May and June, so that's still 9 poll pieces left.

On that note, back to the juggle-grind!
