So... this is like... almost a year old, just been collecting dust in my folders 'cuz I pile up experimental thumbnails and doodles and then forget them in lieu of work and then start something else. Turned out all it needed was a minute touch-up 'cuz I had the base rendering plan all done already.

I think I was sorting out small refinements to Jess' design when I initially started it as just another one of like a hundred sketches, might've been a precursor to when I started doing new refs and then got busy again.  Been so long that I don't even remember anymore lol.  Either way time to just throw it everywhere it's so old I'm missing some things and just overpainted stuff to finish it ahahahaha
