Update time!

This week started with getting some more helpful feedback on the current state of the game. As usual, that meant a round of fixes and tweaks. There’s still one major bug that only happens some of the time (and never on my machine), those are always… fun… to get around. But like all bugs, it will be found and squashed eventually.

Bugs are fun!

I’ve spent my remaining time writing up the mood system for the third girl. There’s still work to be done there but I intend to be finished with this segment by next week. This girl is much easier for me to write so far as her style is simple and direct. I really hope I manage to squeeze in a first date for her before the end of year deadline.

The art department is now back to a full schedule, with both background artists working on images for the second girls date, and Phoenix back in the game and working on the last three side characters. My intention is to get rid of most, if not all of the placeholder images before the public release. So there’s still much work ahead (done slowly to avoid, well, bankruptcy).

Target for the public release remains at the end of the year which is *checks notes* holy shit 10 weeks away! Gotta get back to work.
