Update time!

Damn these weeks are flying by! I managed to implement two more pages of the intro script this week. Those pages required that I add support for full screen "blocking" CGs (as in, ones you need to click through) as well as sound effects and a simple swipe transition. These are important building blocks that will be used repeatedly through the game so getting them working right is a small step with large implications.

On the art side Phoenix and I are working together to experiment a bit with the art needed to support more complex animations. Bell Masters animations were extremely simplistic, I've learned a lot from them, but I'm itching for a bigger challenge this time around. So I'll try my hand at creating a 2D skeletal rig for the girls that I could animate more freely. Like everything at this stage, it's going to take a little longer to set up and get going, but once it's up, it should allow for better, faster animations.

Next week should be a massive spike in the intro implementation as most of its technical requirements are now in place. I should have a bit more free time to work on the game next weekend so hopefully I'll be able to pick up the pace a bit (have I thanked you all for your patience? I have? Well, thanks again!).
