Update time!

Vacation was a blast, but it's nice to get back into a working rhythm. I'm still dealing with some leftover jet lag, but it's getting better and I've managed to be productive regardless. As I mentioned before, I came back buzzing with ideas. I basically took a large chunk of the games intro and rewrote it. I added a lot more details and some character interactions that should help set the general atmosphere for the game. I'm about 2.5k words in now and I think it turned out quite nice. I did set a somewhat ambitious bar with regards to the visuals and effects that I want to pair with that intro, but it's important to open strong when it comes to games like this so I think it'll be worth it.

So now I have to put in the tech work to allow for all of that cool stuff I want to add (mostly fun transitions and a more dynamic presentation style for in game images). So I foresee a few more tech focused updates in the near future.

Meanwhile Phoenix has taken a short vacation as well (another reason why patrons didn't get charged this month), she will get back to work next week. She'll be working on the design for the games other male character, a friend that will travel with you and help you get the most out of your travel experience (No, that does not mean NTR :) ). After that I plan to focus her efforts on getting the intro section fully implemented, I want to have something presentable and playable up and running as soon as I can so I can start getting feedback. Even if that means having to add in most of the actual gameplay related systems and art afterwards. 

As expected in this early stage, the work plan is always in a bit of flux, I'll keep you updated regarding expected dates for public releases, but honestly it's still a few months away. I do appreciate your support and patience while I get this new game up and running and ramp up to a more regular update cycle. Thank you!
