Update time!

Following last week's update, I spent most of my time this week designing a replacement mechanic for the scrapped language barrier one. I think I'm on the right track with a new idea. It's somewhat simple for now but with potential to grow as development time allows. It's still not fully set so I will continue to work on it next week, but I think this will eventually only cause a two week delay to the roadmap. I'll keep you posted as usual.

With the rest of my (admittedly limited) development time this week, I continued fleshing out the game's intro and back story. It's slowly but surely taking shape into something that I think you'll really like. I've gotten more useful feedback from the few I shared it with and I'm working out as many small issues with it as I can. I consider the general structure of the story to be solid at this point. The small details can always use more TLC.

Now, since I'm taking forever to get this done, you can, in the meantime, try out Love Of Magic (also on F95). It's got a lot of content for a first release, took me a couple of hours to get through. And the story is awesome. Be warned, some bugs exist, but the developer displays that "give me feedback so I can make the game better" attitude that I appreciate. Oh, and you might find something interesting on the in game computer ;)
(Full disclosure, I've been chatting with the developer for a while and they're good people, regardless, the game is actually good and I honestly recommend you give it a try).
