Update time!

This week was spent primarily on engine tinkering. I'm still laying the tech groundwork I need to be able to develop the game faster in the later stages. It's slow "invisible" work, but it does pay off in the end. Thanks to some kind advice from other devs, I've integrated some tools that should help make the build process less of a tedious chore. I'm still exploring if and how I can force fungus to support the save anytime feature that everyone (including me) likes so much. As is usually the case with 3rd party tech, it makes some things much easier, and others much harder. I'm still not sure the balance tips in its favor. It's too early to call at the moment.

In the art department, Phoenix was glad to hear about the poll results and is now working on the next girls design. I've also contacted Chris again to pursue possible ways he can contribute to the game. I'll share more on that as it evolves.

I got back some feedback on elements of the games back story that need some more work, so I'll spend at least some time next week building those up. As well as working on the various requirements for the games official reveal (logo, description, art etc). Looking at the roadmap, I'm still on track in terms of time spent. Rapid changes to priorities and the task plan are common at this stage and I think I've set aside enough time to allow for that. So the alpha build milestone remains around the start of January.

Have a great week!
