Full: Process video- Holy Smoke Show (Patreon)

The beginning of this video looks the same as the last video, but it is a different video and painting. Straight forward Process video of my painting "Holy Smoke Show" (named by Choir member Mallory.) No narration on this one, just some sweet sounds and visuals of art being made with a little jazzy lo-fi/experimental/industrial music I made.

I started by creating a rubbing on paper of concrete texture. I fixed the paper to a wood panel with heavy acrylic gel. Gessoed it using clear gesso and began the painting. This piece was an evolution the whole way through. All my pieces have that to a degree, but with this one I really felt like it kept morphing all the way to the end.
