Jeebus McKay... You have a splinter in your hand and are complaining that YOU'RE not being wheeled around on a bed like Sheppard ....A fucking splinter mah dude! Calm the fuck down... It's not like you got bit by a mutated Wraith girl .....This guy and his over exaggerated need for care ...He's basically you Froots ...I'm joking ofcourse ...Sort of ;) 3. Look... THIS. episode and 2x07 COULD. have technically been watched together in one week... And to be fair it would have worked I suppose ....But there's a certain order to the ...Well.. To the Watch Order ....It makes sense to watch it this way so that future episodes are still good when it comes to continuity 4. Yeah there's definitely some sounds on the soundboard that don't really have any reason to be on there ...Main one I think is the "Go away you stupid bird" ...I know it's an oldie buuuutttt ...When can you realistically press that during a recording and have it make sense? 5. I feel like Sheppard DID. just assault Teyla ....And I'm sure that IF. she wasn't Athosian but rather came from Earth ...Sheppard would've had a huge HR problem on his hands now ...Ofcourse this being a sci-fi show... Sheppard is under the influence of something ....And we can just sweep this under the rug I guess 6. Yeeeeeaaahh... Sheppard CAN. be responsible when he really needs to ...Normally on TV shows they do the whole trope where someone is infected and they try to act like nothing is wrong ....But Sheppard saw the thing on his arm and immediately called it in ....So yeah.. I'm glad too he didn't hide it ...That trope has been done to death 7. Sooooo... Sheppard just smashed a window in Weir's office and I'm just thinking how insanely expensive that will be to replace it ....I mean... Imagine ...Normally a window is easily replaceable ....It just gets driven out to you ....But this window... This mothertrucker right here.. This window ....It needs to be transported to Atlantis from another galaxy ....That's GOT. to be a record for most expensive window replacement in history .....I mean... Either that or Weir now has a special spot in her office where she can just jump down into the gateroom ...Put a fuckton of pillows down there and that could be fun though 8. Yeeeeaahh.. Caldwell... Dude... You're JUST. filling in Sheppards spot while he's out of running ...You haven't OFFICIALLY taken over ....Weir is like "At least wait a week" ....Nah... He's just filling in ...Wait until you're HIRED. for the job mah dude 9. Ronon... Come on man ...You didn't have pick up the poop to figure out if the bugs were in the cave ....I'm sure there's other ways to figure out if it was recently dropped there ....But it was funny nonetheless to have McKay once again argue about something Ronon does and see him immediately change his mind once Ronon gave a decent response ....Like remember a couple episodes ago on the prison island when Ronon was tasting some of the food and McKay thought it was their laundry only to then be corrected by Ronon and McKay in turn asking if the food was any good ....That's what this scene reminded me of 10. Yeah... Sheppard doesn't look THAT. bad with the mutated face make-up ....They could've done better ...Even later into the episode he doesn't look that bad ....His face should've been entirely blue... His teeth sharpened ....Maybe he should've shed all his hair aswell 11. Yeah I guess Walker and Stevens were just red shirts ....The scene of the team exiting the cave is kinda fucked up.... You're right.. Major Lorne didn't even TRY. to give them a chance to get out ....He heard some screaming and just yeeted a fucking grenade in there ....All that was missing was him throwing up a peace sign and yelling "PEACE!!" while he bolted out ....And then he didn't even wanna go back in to check for them?? ....Me thinks Lorne had some beef and took his shot 12. True... Not sure if it's such a good idea to close the door after Weir just went into a dark room to confront Sheppard ....Those security guys should have gone in there with her and then close the door behind them (so Sheppard can't escape) 13. Beckett is telling the team that Sheppard needs to go to the cave and behind him you can see some tape... Tape on a window.. A window that has seemingly been fixed as it was smashed earlier ......I'm guessing they just have replacements just laying around????? 14. Soooo... Dude already KNOWS time is important here ...Beckett starts informing him again about what they need from the bugs... Me: "Dude.. Hurry up" ...Teyla stops him and tells Sheppard that they can't go with him and time is running out cause it took them longer to get to the cave than they planned ...Me: "Bish... Then let him go in!!!" 15. Yeah they gave Sheppard a cloak for no valid reason... Dude YOLO'd into the cave and wasn't even that near to any of the bugs before he yeeted that cloak off of himself ...I guess it was just a fashion choice ...To make him look cool 16. As you know I didn't really ship people in the past so I can't speak from personal experience... But I suppose there's shippers out there who saw Sheppard and Teyla kissing in this episode and were jumping up and down with excitement .....But to me it just looked kinda uncomfortable

I finally caught back up with the stargate reactions! I caught up on chuck and now stargate, i only have roswell and grimm left to catch up on! I took a few weeks break bc i was doing something else but im back! I really liked this episode, it was fun seeing shepard turn into an alien creature. Im really enjoying season 2 more than season 1 so far. What about you?
