Ive never seen a single thing about star wars and i dont know a single thing about star wars. Can i watch this show with you and actually understand it or is it only for the star wars fans?

Just to be clear, this was part of the April Selections. I think you'd be safe to watch along since you're probably as close to knowledgeable about Star Wars as she is (or I am for that matter). It's selected in a special order since according to David (the person selecting it) this makes the most sense.

The clone troopers that have blue on their armour are the ones under Anakin's command, with Captain Rex as their top ranking clone. The clone troopers with orange (which sometimes looks kind of yellowish) are under Obi-Wan's command, with Commander Cody as their top ranking clone.

If you want to be completely caught up, you could watch Star Wars I and II, since this series takes place in between II and III. Nothing else is needed and even without those I think you can follow them pretty well.
