I think the reason they had finn in this episode like this was because they still had one more episode on his contract. Correct me if im wrong but i read that somewhere.

If Im not mistaken they planted a few seeds about why Finn was in prison. Nothing about it having to do with Raven, but they called him space walker and referred to what happened in the early episodes of season 1 a couple times.

I'm pretty sure that was just a fan theory. His contract wouldn't have been for 22 episodes. He was in the episode to show Clarke being haunted by her decision to kill him. He was a plot device to help show her emotions. He wasn't needed though. Eliza is very good at acting out emotions and she could have probably told the story better on her own.

I "like" how everyone just shrugs off Clarke talking to a dead person. Nobody questions it. Nobody wonders if she is in the right place emotionally to be leading them.

It's so funny to me that Abby is like I know what it feels like to Clarke but What she did to Clarke's dad Jake is nothing compared to what Clarke had to do with Finn. It was two separate situations and not comparable at all so I don't think they are the same in that regard either. What I hate the most about this episode is when Clarke and Bellamy were talking about him being the inside man and Clarke declined the idea initially because she didn't want to lose him but then she listens to Lexa about the whole Love is weakness bullshit and now after they hear Jasper's message, she suddenly agrees because she was "being weak." so now it's okay to send Bellamy into Mount Weather on a suicide mission and now his life is worth the risk to get this shit done. Honestly that will always bother me.

The “love is weakness” thing is kinda stupid, but I do like the Costia (I think that’s how u spell it) story. Gives a little backstory to Lexa while also letting you know she’s into girls. I feel like a lot of other shows make it seem abnormal and would make a major deal out of this while in The 100 it’s normal.

Bellamy wanted to go on this mission. Clarke said no because she was thinking about her own personal feelings and not what is best for everyone. Lexa doesn't really believe love is weakness. You could tell she cared for Gustus. Her main point was that a good leader needs to leave emotion out of their decisions. Clarke realized that in order to win this war they needed someone on the inside. She realized that she can't be selfish because it will only get others killed.

Even if Bellamy wanted to go this mission, hearing from someone he's starting to get close to and becoming friends with, basically is like ive changed my mind, your life is actually worth the risk to fulfill this mission even though Bellamy could get tortured or worse when the people in the mountain find out he's in there. You can tell by the look on Bellamy's face that he was hurt by it.
