Oh Finn, when even Murphy tells you to stop... yeeah he's really lost it. When I first watched this I also thought he was behaving very out of character, but rewatching it now, I guess he really has been through a lot. That's bound to change you.

Kane's mother was the leader of a church based on worshiping "the Earth" and coming back "home" when they were back in the space on the ark. The little tree that he planted was hers, the church kept it alive as a symbol of living earth of the Ark. So now that Marcus is on the ground, he planted that tree and said some words from their frequent prayer. This one "In peace, may you leave the shore. In love, may you find the next. Safe passage on your travels until our final journey to the ground. May we meet again." They recite it quite often in the series and the first time we heard this full quote, is when Kane's mother was dying and he said it to her. It was early in development, they just started turning him into a good guy, or at least, started showning us that there are more sides of him. I love that the show did this little scene with the tree and him looking at the skies(space), thinking about his mom(((

It may have been idiotic for that old man but he was trying to escape so he get away and maybe warn people so I don't blame him honestly but what is more fucked is the fact that Finn kept shooting at everyone who moved even as Murphy was telling him to stop. He has the audacity to walk up to Clarke with that crazy look in his eyes whilst saying I found you whilst Clarke was looking back at him terrified. Honestly I don't blame her for looking at him that way after gunning down unarmed grounders because honestly I would too.

Shan with the Reaper prediction. Good job. They were using shock treatment on Lincoln with the high pitch tone. What that does is make it so they associate the sound with pain. This makes it so they can use the sound to control the Reapers later. Similar techniques are used on animals in the real world. I don't think Jasper is being stupid just because he is horny. I think it is mostly because he finally feels safe. Remember, his second day on the ground he took a spear to the chest. For a bit after that he was too afraid to leave their camp. They did give Jasper's blood to Maya. They basically hooked them both up to each other. They used Jasper's body as a filter to clean her blood. PTSD explains Finn's actions. It definitely doesn't defend them. His actions in this episode made it so I would have been fine if he was killed. Even before he shot the villagers, he was terrorizing innocent children. Fuck him.
