Colleen didn’t actually get punched in the face. She saw the hit coming and tilted her head down so the punch would hit the crown of her head which is a defensive way to take a hit. Hurts your opponent worse than you. And for the music they leaned heavily into hip hop for this show, which a lot of people thought was an odd choice.

One Danny Rand quote encapsulates like 80% of my political beliefs "no one should profit from the misery of others." I am pretty sure the article was ward's plan because danny cost them money he used the reporter to give them good press.

Yeah, making the majority shareholder of your company look bad would only cost him even more money. He doesn't want that. Making Danny look good is good for the business and for him.

I like that the fight scenes are fairly realistic...the fights in the ring, her against those big guys, she used techniques that you would need to use against someone much bigger than you are. I think the only thing about those fights I would nitpick is the guys for some reason couldn't take a punch or kick from her as well as they should have.
