MittenCrab

Tony Amendola (Bra'tac) is younger than Richard Dean Anderson (Jack). That will never, ever make sense.

So the writers did the same thing with Teal'c than they did with Sam. They kind of wrote him with white people glasses (for lack of better words), not sure if it's because he's black or from a warrior race but yeah, his behavior towards his wife is a bit troubling, being rough, calling her woman that way. Especially considering his characterization throughout the season, like Teal'c is not like that. Christopher Judge also hated it and after this episode (technically s2) he will a MUCH bigger hand/influence in crafting his character and anything that has to do with the Jaffa. Unofficially co-writing (sort of) episodes dedicated to him. So, this is more or less the last time he acts like that. Kind of sad that his wife and son didn't join him to live at the SGC, I think that would've been a cool storyline to see.

Also.... MASTER BRA'TAC. I love him, one of my favorite characters :D

Zoot!

Another great episode. I was confused at the start too, was expecting a "12 hours earlier" or something. Didn't quite throw me off because most Star Wars stories start right in the middle of the action so I'm used to it. I'm really happy that the General isn't a jerk. He's a hardass but seems to always want to do what's best. I'm glad he let them go through the stargate. The actor playing Teal'c was excellent this episode, not that he usually isn't just I thought this was an extra good performance. I'm looking forward to them going back to Chulak - epic Jaffa civil war perhaps?
