I'm pretty sure CW is more accurate than The Boys on this one. The wounds would pretty much instantly cauterize. The truth is probably in the middle. Their would be blood, but the instant cauterization should limit it to just a little.

I felt really bad for Kara in this episode, especially when she was being mocked by the prisoners. Something I notice in this show is that a lot of times people forget that Supergirl has feelings due to the fact that she’s a superhero and also an Alien. No one really ever thinks about the fact that she quite literally lost her entire planet at a very young age, and what trauma that probably put her through. It’s like all anyone can see is her physical invulnerabilities, and because of that they don’t realize that she isn’t mentally/emotionally invulnerable as well. Just because she’s seen as a higher being, doesn’t mean she’s not a real person who can get their feelings hurt the same as anyone else.

I’ve decided to come back and comment some more of my thoughts since there are barley any comments on this video. Okay so about Supergirl and the White House attack. I get that there’s video evidence of “Supergirl” attacking the White House and hurting (killing?) people, and I guess I get why the whole “in retaliation to the repeal of the Alien Amnesty Act” explanation would make sense to people, but I find it kinda unrealistic that so many people are believing Supergirl did something this terrible so easily. This is something completely out of character for her, and it’s a way in which she’s never acted before. Not to mention, there have been plenty of events similar to the repeal where Aliens were being severely discriminated against and Supergirl never retaliated to this scale, in fact she didn’t really even retaliate at all, so why would she all of a sudden do so now? If I was a person in this universe I know for a fact that I wouldn’t immediately believe this when it came on the news due to the many years of evidence that Supergirl wouldn’t act this way.

I find the almost poller opposite dynamics between Kara and Lena versus Supergirl and Lena to be really interesting. Kara cares very deeply for Lena and vise versa, which is why it feels kind of striking when Supergirl and Lena get into heated arguments with each other. Kara and Lena pretty much never fight, and if they do it’s been a very small unimportant thing that was resolved quickly. Thats why I found it really nice to see them working as a team as Supergirl and Lena in this episode without any disagreements or anything, but it also brought into perspective for me the guilt Kara must feel every time she’s with Lena as Supergirl, and has to hold back from acting like Kara which I believe to be her true personality.
