yeah I tend to ignore it but it has always bothered me a bit that Kara use Kara both as a human name and a kryptonian name instead of doing the Kal-El & Clark route :)

To be fair it's not like Kara isn't a relatively common human name. A reporter and Superman both being named Kal-El. Red flag. A reporter and Supergirl both being named Kara. Totally meaningless.

The fact that people aren't just figuring out that Supergirl is Kara is understandable when it comes to people that don't know Kara personally but her own sister not recognizing her is pretty unbelievable.

Fair enough it's basically just that Kara isn't a common name to me (but that's just due to where I grow up) One other thing that I also tend to wonder about why do people think Supergirl and Superman have secret identities when they are just out there with their faces shown to the public

When you were talking about supergirl and agents of shield it reminded me that they were having a dance battle I think and you can find some pictures of the the cast together on Pinterest if you look up supergirl and agents of shield and scroll down a bit
