Great reaction to one of my favorite shows. Yeah this doesn’t have the feeling of a season finale because it was not supposed to be. Chuck’s first season happened to be the same year there was a writer’s strike in Hollywood. The networks were forced to stop production on scripted shows for a couple of months till the strike was settled. Some shows were then began producing new episodes again once the strike ended however with Chuck they just ended the first season here and didn’t have new episodes till season 2 which in the initial run of the show meant that it was almost ten months without any new episodes. Thus we have the start of the tragedy of Chuck. The show has a small cult following but never could make it bigger as it always seemed either the network sabotaged it or the show did it to itself. The Buy More characters are hard to say if they get better. I feel they get used better in the subsequent seasons. don’t know if that means you will like them more or not though. Hopefully will get to see you react to season 2.

I also want to point out something regarding your dislike for Morgan. I assure you that you're not the only one who dislike him in season 1. But what makes this show so excellent is the fantastic development the characters go through. I guarantee you that your opinion will change during this show on certain characters if you're willing to give them that chance. This show has some of the best character writing that exists on TV. Also, this season was cut short due to the writer's strike in 2007. The first episode of Season 2 holds part of what this season finale was meant to be about.

I finally finished binging your season 1 reactions! I always liked this show, good to see it grew on you. It has some good characters, some good humor and some good music. I hope to see more reactions to it from you, even if it's one a month (btw, thanks a lot, GaveUp :))
