Chris Klein does a decent job at playing Orlin (flashbacks in this episode were really good imo) but I'm not sure if talking like that as Cicada was his idea or the directors. And if it's the first option, I can't believe nobody came up to him and said "hey Chris this is not how people talk maybe try slurring your words less"

Actually it's not even that, Kirk Acevedo plays Diaz in a similar way (at least in terms of speaking) and I tend to enjoy his acting. Maybe it's more about the pauses between what Cicada says, the whole "every.... meta.... WILL.... DIE" + the camera angle.

I had to download it, whereas typically I can stream it on OneHub. Sometimes the uploads are like that.

For some reason downloads from OneHub are always terrible for me. But downloads from other services like Dropbox, etc. work fine. But OneHub downloads MIGHT play for a second and then freeze, pixelate and skip and then freeze completely.

I honestly do think it's a bit naive to be so trusting of family despite evidence to the contrary in the Arrowverse with all the past issues characters have had with family, but I think it is expected in the Arrowverse. Everyone always does it, and you can list many examples of characters trusting family when they really shouldn't.

The time between episodes is a bit different going into this season. Usually a few months pass in between seasons, but this season, the first episode picked up immediately after the season 4 finale. So Gridlock attacking probably did happen a day or two after the Enlightenment.

Then each episode skips ahead a little to begin catching-up with the timeline of the rest of the shows to line-up in time for the crossover.
