I understand how you look at it and I partly agree. But sometimes you look too much in a way at characters as they appeared in the fairytales. And OUAT sometimes gives it a slightly different twist. I also sometimes have the feeling that you jump to conclusions too quickly while at that moment you only know a small part of the story.

Ive noticed when you are annoyed with something you try and find every little thing wrong with it. Why dont you just relax a bit and just enjoy the story? No disrespect just wondering.

These are not their fairytale characters, these are more realistic representations of them. They are different. Dont expect them to be perfect and all the way good.

I agree, this show has everybody make bad choices and do bad things. Its not out of character for them to do these things because they are human and make bad decisions. You cant expect them to be just like their fairytale characters. They are more realistic, they lie and do bad things but they always have a reason to do so. They make mistakes but thats ok.

The way you get upset about really everything by now is just annoying. It's not the first season, it's the fourth. You should have slowly realized that the characters are not clones of the Disney films, but three-dimensional characters with flaws. Each of your videos just makes me angry and now I've had enough. Your reaction, your opinion, fine. But at least you should think about it, instead of just criticizing such a great series.

I agree, I’m just sad that she tries her hardest to insult the show and doesn’t just watch and enjoy herself. I miss when she actually watched and enjoyed it. Now she keeps jumping to conclusions and gets upset about everything. This show isn’t perfect and it does make mistakes but it doesn’t deserve this much hate imo. I respect her opinion but it truly does make watching these reactions very hard when she keeps saying bad things about a show we all love.

The people above need to understand something. Shannan is not acting any differently than she has been since she started reacting to shows. She is being real and giving her genuine and unfiltered reactions. There will be people that agree with her points and others that won't. Sometimes those same people will go back and forth on how they see things. The point is, she is not trying to offend, irritate or make anyone angry. If you come out of the reaction feeling any of those things, then it's on you, because she isn't addressing anyone in particular who's watching. She's thinking and talking out loud, how she feels about the episode she's watching. If you expect her to think the same way you do about the show, certain plot points or characters, then it's an unrealistic expectation. She has the right to feel how she feels and won't be, nor should not be influenced by others like oh, if I point this out, people will think I'm nitpicking, or if I say this about a character, they'll say it's not the same as the Disney character Shan!

And I’ll say the same thing I’ve repeated incessantly about this topic. Regardless of what it is that Shannan is reacting to and whatever unfiltered opinion she has we reserve the right to respond to it and share our own thoughts and perspectives. Shan can reserve the right to not listen to us but it’s not practical to expect us to just shut up and not share our own beliefs and opinions on an episode. As long as we aren’t spoiling anything. And as long as we are not being rude. We are allowed to voice our opinion

Brandon, there is NOTHING wrong with what Shan is doing. She is giving us an honest reaction and that's what we pay for. People expressing their displeasure with her reaction are doing the same thing. They are giving their reaction to her reaction. The people in these comments could be better about expressing their feelings in a more civilized manner, but I'm not sure you'll ever get that on the internet. On this topic people have repeatedly said that they feel Shan would enjoy the show more if she received it in the way it was intended (A realistic story loosely built on character names from fairytales. Not the actual fairytale characters.). They are upset she is judging it on a criteria that was never intended. Their annoyance at that is their issue, but it is also Shan's issue because they are her customers. I PERSONALLY DON'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH ANY OF THIS.

Can you all please stop pretending that what she said is an unpopular opinion ? I bet half of you guys had the same reaction as Shan when this first aired. Because I remember when this episode, hell this half of season came out and almost everyone was pissed and/or annoyed at the characterization of Snow and David. She's right, not only is it OOC but it's also making them into hypocrites and fakes. I mean am I the only one who remember Snow's mental breakdown when she killed Cora? This is much worse. Whatever. Maybe you're in the small number of people who didn't mind this plot or even liked it but please don't pretend Shan is alone in her opinion. There's also no need to be rude, if you don't like her reaction/opinion, either don't watch or don't comment.
