To really enjoy this show from now on, you need to embrace and lean into the crazyness. Its one of my favorite shows because of it.

I think they said in season 1 that there were pills that you take and you can understand every language, maybe that also includes animals like pigs?

I think the the whole grieving that did not happen was because of the showrunners on both shows not communicating for consistency. But you are right they should have had some moment in which they discussed her father death.

Yep, perhaps the best Arrowverse TV-Show. It's crazy, weird and doesn't take it self serious from time to time. And that's why I like this show so much.

I fully agree with this. Seasons 1 & 2 were not bad, they were perfectly fine superhero TV, but you could tell that the creators were taking the whole concept of a misfit crew traveling through time way too seriously. Somewhere during season 3, maybe the first Beebo episode, the creators just said screw it and decided to have fun and the show is soooo much better for it. It like a weird Silver Age comic story come to life and I absolutely love it. Plus, the addition of Constantine to the show kicks the whole thing up another few notches.

I think that another part of the reason why they don't focus on Quentin's death is that they already had two seasons of Sara dealing with the man who killed Laurel. The writers knew in season 1 that Damien was going to kill Laurel since they had Sara find out at the end of the season and then decided to work with that storyline for the next two seasons. The writers for Legends might not have known that they would kill Quentin in Arrow. Also, they might have felt that the whole Sara seeking vengeance for a murder in the family was already done. Besides, Arrow is dealing with Diaz, so if she went after him, she probably would end up running into characters on Arrow and I crossovers appear to be too much work to have extended crossovers outside of the annual crossover.

Did they start production on season 4 before Caity Lotz appeared in the season 6 finale? Because if they didn't, there's no way they wouldn't have known Arrow killed Quentin off because Lotz would have brought it up.

I'm sure they hadn't started filming, but they might have started writing scripts and coming up with a plan for the season. I'm not entirely sure how that works.
