I still like how they didnt make the love interests fight over her and worked together which sadly is kinda rare in shows.

i only recently binged both seasons of this show last week, and i saw that you recently uploaded episode 1 on youtube about three weeks ago when i was trying to find reactions to the show. the american pie sequence is somehow one of the most heartbreaking scenes i've seen on tv for a long while. (it's only more impressive when you realise it's all one shot, and there's so much thought that went into what happened and who was on screen during every lyric. they analyse it a bit in the trivia section of imdb which is def work checking out.) i cried even just watching your reaction to it. this show definitely surprised me. you go into it not quite knowing what's in store, thinking it's just a fun jukebox musical-comedy show with a twist, and then it hits you with this emotional and poignant discussion about death and grief and acceptance it's all done in such a creative way.
