Not saying anything about the future, so up until this point in the season, Supergirl and Legends were definitely doing better than their elders(Flash and Arrow) and it looked like they were beating Arrowverse season 3 curse. You'll see if they stick the landing or not by yourself, not gonna spoil it. And on the merit of previous Supergirl seasons, I know that some people love season 1, and with the exception of Kat Grant, I don't know what to love there, so I definitely saw season 2 as big improvement in everything, except for budget. And season 3 is even better than season 2, so far anyway) P.S. All of that was IMHO, of course, but you are welcome to dissect me in comments anyway, if you wish)

The actress who played Lyra, Winn's alien girlfriend, landed a main role on another show between seasons. The producers then decided to drop the character and not to mention her. Rather than recast, or just have Winn say that they broke up or something. Imra is telekinetic, not telepathic.

Actually Imra is a telepath in the comics, one of the strongest known in her time. She's actually more like the SG villain Psi, so you can imagine how intimidating she can be. I guess the writers didn't want to duplicate those two characters abilities.

I'm glad you remembered that Kara killed those white martians back in episode 3 so that I didn't have to remind you. I think that up to this point season 3 has been pretty strong. Definitely better than season 2, which I have MAJOR problems with. I think it’s better than season 1 as well, but that’s due more to the fact that the meta plot is way better in season 3 than it was season 1. Also, I just have to state again how awesome Imra is. Even when she’s on the wrong side of an argument she’s still right. Her POV is totally justified and understandable, and the fact that she is able to recognize her shortcomings and admit to them shows just how heroic she really is.

Also her and Mon-el’s relationship is really well handled, with them both realizing the difficult situation and complex emotions that come with working with your former lover
