Lol Shan that’s not Anissa’s ex-girlfriend from Season 1 either. That’s a completely new character.

Ok, Shan lets see how this goes. In the first episode Anissa had a girlfriend then during her research at the library she met the Asian woman i believe she said she was Grace (thnx David), they never actually became GF/GF they only ever met at a fancy dress where her current GF saw them. and they broke up. As for Grace you actually never saw her for the rest of Season 1 if i remember correctly.

Honestly I don't know what they were going for with this episode as a whole with regards to the singer and Anissa. It was like the writers thought hmmm how can we fill in this 10 minutes of this episode.

Shan, the new girl Anissa was with started when we see her in this episode. They see each other from across the room for the first time ever. Anissa walked up to her and they started flirting. Then they start out to have a one night stand, but decided to keep things going and made a date for another night. Then Grace was working as a waitress at the party.

Don't be so hard on yourself forgetting certain characters, you are watching a lot of shows at once in a very odd scheduled structure, not the typical week to week as a show tends to be watched as such it has been some time since you have seen Grace as a character on screen.
