"That's such 80's music".."that's such 80's hair", she says while watching a movie from the 80's.

Brandon Wiesner

Well I mean obviously she knew that. Her point was, it's indicative of the era it's from.

Please react to Ghostbusters 2

Tom Tattershall

Ghostbusters is one of my favorite 80's comedies. The effects were mostly good for the time and in a comedy silly looking effects can be used as part of the comedy like Slimer (the green ghost in the hotel).

David Brown

Shan, on The Flash & Legends of Tomorrow there is the rule of "not crossing the streams" of Snart's Cold Gun & Mick's Heat Gun, which is a Ghostbusters reference. Did you recognize Louis as Dark Helmet from Spaceballs? I mean, I know you didn't like it. It wasn't a "massage", Shan. Give it a little more thought, you're on the right track.

Brandon Wiesner

I'm pretty sure she knew what it was. She was just looking for the least dirty way to say it.

42:09... "No job is too big! No Fee is too big! " ;) ;)

Perhaps you could consider streaming Ghostbusters The Video Game. I replayed it recently - a special edition was released over the last few years - and it was a lot of fun. It takes place after Ghostbusters 2 but, apart from understanding a few references, you don't need to have seen that film.

The game is so good, I've played it a few times. Highly recommend, same cast too.

Hey Shan, this movie *is* old but those devil dog effects looked bad then too. They were rushing some of the visual effects namely the devil dogs. It would be nice if they released a remaster that included some updates to the visual effects. I'm fine with the other effects (even the practical devil dogs which do look pretty cool) in the film but redoing those devil dog effects would be a good thing.

Jarrod Wild

Those effects for the demonic beasts were pretty bad even back in 1984, but it doesn't hurt the film for me. The rest of the visuals still look great today. I would say this is my favorite 80s comedy and easily rewatchable.

Steve Quast

I love how the Keymaster possesses the character who's always getting locked out of his apartment.

Timotey Kuhn

22:46....Egon: "Print is dead." LOL! Egon was WAAAAAAY ahead of his time. :P

Timotey Kuhn

33:19 Shan: "Look at all the wasted toilet paper!!" I don't think they could have known that TP would become such an intensely valuable commodity 36 years later... LOL! ;)

Cracked up when you said 'Product placement' (The Coke in the fridge) then you casually takes a sip of Pepsi.

I grew up watching and re-watching Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles over and over again. The second movie from both are my faves.
