So we are all getting together and buying Shan a “I survived Arrow Season 4” Shirt right? In all seriousness, congratulations on finishing Season 4 and the same week of the series finale. You’re halfway done!

it legit will only get better after this. Can't wait for the season 5 reactions

sandrinegeller

Yeah, they really screwed up so many characters this season. Just try to go into the future episodes with an open mind and not let the garbage of season 4 influence your opinions. It's easier that way.

Tammy L. Faulkner

Yep... season 4 was a very weak season. I stand corrected. Must have mistaken it for 5... or just ran the first 6 together in one, idk. Onward.

Andreas Froby

Just want to say have in mind writers of the different arrowverse shows don't always talk to to and cooperate together with everything happening in every epsiode.

Zach Hershman

I'm not sure I'm ready to watch more Arrow yet. Still in my feels about the series finale (which I won't discuss).

Wyatt

Man I forgot how cringey that finale was 😬

Season 5 is arguably the best season 🔥 so I’m excited lol

Zach Hershman

"I'm hoping that the finale does the whole season justice". Yeaaahh. About that...

Zach Hershman

Episodes like this are why LoT is the one main Arrowverse show I could never get into. We have already seen an immediate future of this. The world didn't end. It's not like there was ever a worry of that but with LoT going in and out of the future I always felt it would ruin the way I think of things. Shows like Timeless did the time travel stuff in a way I enjoyed. They weren't trying to change the future. They were trying to keep the present from being changed.

You do realize the show runners flipped right? Andrew Kreisberg left after Season 2 to go work on The Flash and Supergirl, leaving Marc Guggenheim as the sole showrunner and he DOES hate Laurel as a character.

I personally don’t think it’s possible for you to have liked Season 4 much better. Even with everybody lowering your expectations season 4 is just so unwatchable it’s literally classified as a form of torture

Andreas Froby

Possible she would have disliked more if people have not lower her expecations

David Brown

9:01 Notice what Quentin is wearing. He just got back from visiting Laurel's grave with Sara in the Legends of Tomorrow finale.

the idea that people have of "fridging" being a bad thing has always seemed a little BS to me. Characters male and female die all the the time in comics. Most all have an impact on characters pushing them forward to question themselves and whats happened and pushing them forward to become a hero or get justice for their death. How is Laurel any different than robert, tommy, moira, shado, tianna etc. Also it happens all the time in other comics, shows and films DC and Marvel. Girlfriends or wives die, friends die, parental figures die and all them push the plot forward that is what story telling is or else there is no reason for them to die and it's pointless. This whole thing got started with them naming it from i believe green lanterns girlfriend get killed and put in a fridge. I think the problem people had there was she was pretty much created just to be killed like that just to push the story forward. But so what sometimes people die violently unexpectedly and without having known them or being able to be with them long. Plus anyway I don't think these other situations exactly fit the definition anyway. A character is dying to push forward the plot but they weren't created just for that and given little characterization before hand. To me it's more just about being sad the character died accepting it and watching how the characters feel how they process it, feel guilty about it and how they seek justice or revenge etc about it. My main thing is I don't think it's fair to pick out one death when it's such a common trope. Why is it bad in this case and not those or why is it OK in those cases and not this one?
