I enjoyed the first season, definitely felt more like a Robin series than anything though. Everyone else comes off as sidekicks which I hope next season improves on that. That after credit scene though!

Looking forward to the next season, hopefully more Titans.

I agree, Titans would have been a better watch if they'd told a story instead of spending so much time on side characters... "Robin created by Bob Kane for DC with Bill Finger"

Yep. I hoping there's more Titans in season 2. Or maybe there will be side stories introducing Sgt. Rock and 'Mazing Man. :(

Ending on a cliffhanger was definitely not the way to go. Plus, they gave us this big epic showdown between Batman and Dick but it all takes place in his mind. Yeah, not very happy with how this turned out so far. Hopefully the second season will focus more on the Titans and how they form and fight as a team, now that they got all the spinoff character intros out of the way in this one.

This season was ok, but I don’t know that I will continue watching it when/if it comes back.

I totally understand your problems with the way the story was structured and how it unfolded. To be honest, I kind of shared them at first, but then I thought about it another way and it all kinda clicked for me. This season is just the first part of a much bigger story, and I’m not just talking about Titans. I believe that all the live-action DCU shows (Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Star Girl) will be important to the totality of the story. Let’s remember that Geoff Johns is the executive producer of Titans, the creator and head writer of Star Girl, and I would have to imagine has a hand in the other shows. The man is a long-form storyteller and world builder. Every line of dialog, every minor detail, every easter egg, has most likely been included to add something to the overall story. Nothing is accidental. It’s the way he works as a writer. I have complete faith that 10 years from now people will look back at the DCU shows and they will be talked about with the same amount of love, respect and reverence that people use to talk about the current state of the MCU films. Basically, the first season of Titans is the equivalent of the first Ironman film. Mark my words.

Hawk and Dove, Donna Troy, and Jason Todd's Robin have all been members of the Titans at one time or another in the comics so I don't mind their stories being part of this Titans show. I do agree that the entire season should have been made available at the same time. The season probably would have held together better if it could have been watched over a shorter period of time. And I do not approve of cliffhanger season endings. If a series is good, I will certainly come back for further seasons. I do not appreciate having to wait months to see how the cliffhanger resolves. I will watch next season but I will have a bit of a grudge against the show runners.

Well the only iconic Batman villains I saw in that scene were Two-Face and Riddler. There were probing more but those were the only 2 that I spotted
