In the comics jason killed someone and didn't tell batman or nightwing. In the batman cartoon movies we never saw jason todd go nuts when he was robin, only when he was the red hood. Id love to see nightwing vs red hood.

Right. "Death in the Family" is the comic story. It cost 50 cents to call the 900 number and vote, comics were 75 cents at the time (1989). The total was 5,343 to 5,271. There's some disagreement on whether or not the vote was legit. It would be better as a binge. Hope next week is a Titans story followed by a new character from Raven's past...

I agree that they're spending too much time not developing the Titans. It feels like it's all for connections purposes. They introduced Doom Patrol, now we met Jason Todd and got more backstory on Gotham, the Maroni's etc. I get it, that this is different than the OG cartoon and this season is building up to something. I just wish they would get on with it already. Give me the Titans really fighting together, at least before the season ends.

I think this show is just setting up the whole planned universe for the DC network much like Arrow did for the CW. They're just making sacrifices of the main show to do so which is unfortunate.

i get what you are saying about them being more of a team at some points but I wouldn't get to stuck on it being just like the cartoon it's a mix or cartoon and comics and it's own stuff and when it comes to focusing on the other characters it may not be focusing on the main team but it's still focusing on Titans in general because Hawk and Dove and Jason and Donna etc have all been Titans in the comics before and the Gar was in the Doom Patrol before the Titans in both the comics and the cartoon so it makes sense to show them too. The structure is serialized and different than CW shows and while it could use improvement sometimes I think it's still ok overall. I guess with less eps it can get a little back and forth with the main group and side characters eps but remember even in the longer Arrowverse ones they have eps where it focuses either just on the main character and most of the other cast isn't there or they focus on the side characters and the main one is hardly in an ep too.
