No spoilers but Samuel was in heaven not in hell and that's all I'm saying bc I want you find out everything else yourself!!👍💜

Not a Spoiler. Samuel was in heaven not the other Cambell's. They were still alive. In the first episode Samuel said they didn't know about Sam & Dean, thats why we've never seen them until now.

Crowley could resurrect people, regardless of whether or not they were in Heaven or Hell

Crowley is a demon who is known for subterfuge. He's a master tactician. Just because he gives an answer, that doesn't necessarily mean it's the truth. Case in point. Samuel was definitely in Heaven and got pulled down. Does becoming the King of Hell give Crowley enough juice to do that? I dunno. Lucifers Cage is definitely in Hell so was it Crowley who pulled the body and not the soul of Sam back? Dunno either. Well I do know but won't spoil. Just something to think about. Crowley started as the King of the Crossroads demons. Even demons as powerful as Azazel (Yellow Eyes) had to get permission to enter the home to drip blood. I remember him saying something to the effect of "Red tape would drive you crazy." Lilith too had to seal the deal she offered Sam in season 4 with some sexy time. So what deal was made? Hmm... :-P

Crowley doesn't do it himself, but as the Crossroads "King" he has ability to draw on resources that can do it. When a Deal is made.

Great job Shan! I do remember you guessing that he might not have his soul as one of your ideas. I just laughed then because I couldn't believe you actually thought of that. I don't know of anyone else that has ever considered that. Sorry, but no reward for getting it right except pride. :) I see someone else already told you about that it was only Grandpa Campbell who was resurrected - brought down from Heaven. He gathered up the other Hunter Campbells after he was brought back. They weren't dead. Seems like Grandpa has his soul. Pretty sure he was actually in Heaven and not Hell. Crowley mentioned the likely reason he would have had for bringing Sam back without his soul. As leverage to keep Dean in line. Figure he didn't need that with Samuel (grandpa). Or it was easier to have grandpa have a soul then be souless like Sam. Will just have to see.

It's pretty simple. Cross road demons can bring people back from heaven with their souls easily. Remember Dean made a deal and one brought Sam back in season two. Samuel was in heaven then he was brought back. Sam was in a cage in hell with Michael and Lucifer. Bring him back without a soul and use Sam's soul, Sam's body and Samuel as hostages as Crowley will put them back in heaven/hell respectively unless Dean, Samuel and soulless Sam capture alphas.

That doesn't work at all. For the crossroad demon power to work, a deal needs to have actually been struck. Otherwise the demon doesn't have the power (remember Bobby's deal with Crowley). Bringing Sam back without a soul might theoretically work as leverage, except Sam has worked for a year without even knowing about it. And what is motivating Samuel? Why would putting him back in heaven be a threat? No, there's a lot still to be uncovered here.
