This is a really great show. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing you pick it up at some point, if you were ever intrigued enough. I think you'd really enjoy it!

I'm behind on this series. Glad Fred didn't start out this series living in a cave. They figured out how to do the effects for everyone's superpowers - and it's mostly great. I wonder if the x-shows will be moving to the new Disney streaming deal...

I absolutely love this show, I don't know why I waited so long to watch it myself. Good thing about waiting though was I was able to binge season 1 and then season 2 premiered shortly after, lol, so no wait for me. Polaris is definitely one of my favorite characters - I wasn't as familiar with the comics as you obviously are, but as you can tell from this episode she's already pretty bad ass. Also, Amy Acker! Fred is indeed blonde in this show, lol. But yeah, awesome reaction! I know you have people saying this on almost every pilot, but I hope you decide to add this to your list of shows to react to in the future, especially since you're such a fan of the X-Men franchise. :D

Yes, of course I love Buffy and Angel and I knew you were going to know right away that it was Fred. Hard to believe she plays a mom now and yeah, she's blonde, which I think looks good on her. The show itself is good, probably the best X-Men show so far. I know you have yet to watch Legion, so I won't spoil it for you but I am intrigued to see what you think of it. I have a pretty good idea already though...

I love this show. i'm on the second season now, and it is great. Polaris is one of my favorite characters too, and the chance to see the super talented Amy Acker makes this one of my must see shows these days.

When I heard that Fox was making another X-Men show, I had super low expectations. I don't think they've done a good job with any TV/movie adaptation since the X-Men cartoon in the '90s. Then I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the show! The writing is really good, they hit emotional notes really well and there's a lot of teamwork between characters with different powers. A+

I didn’t have any expatiations going in, but I love the X-Men and I’m a fan of the actors who play the parents so I gave it a chance. I quite enjoy it, it’s a show in a lot of ways that shouldn’t work but the writing is good and four of the actors/characters carry it through slow spots: the parents, Polaris and Marcos. One thing I like in comparison to similar shows, it really seems to be building the story and charters toward a greater purpose and bigger story i.e. I trust the writers are going somewhere interesting. If you do decide to react to it in the future, it has short seasons and there aren’t many out yet so you could catch up quick. You seem to know/love the X-Men, so seeing your reactions in comparison to the comics and movies would also be fun as it was here.
