Adam is Magic

I hated the Original bloodline plot twist because it was clearly just a loophole to make sure The Originals especially Klaus can't be killed so the writers can have around them longer. Also you're the first person I've seen that hates Matt. I've seen people either like him or prefer other characters to him but, never hate him.

I don’t think there’s any contradiction between Elena admitting she felt something for Damon in a previous episode and her saying she doesn’t know what she feels for Damon in this episode. She’s 18 years old and her only relationship experience was with Matt and with best-behavior Stefan. She has no experience being in a relationship with someone who drives her crazy or pisses her off on a regular basis like Damon does. Her prior relationships were sweet and pleasant (and probably a little bland), and I can completely believe that, when it comes to her feelings for Damon, Elena herself isn’t entirely sure where the line is -- are her feelings love, or is it friendship + lust? (My vote is for option #3 -- love + lust!) I can also completely believe there is nothing Elena would like more than to turn back the clock 6 months or so, to a time before Stefan left with Klaus when she knew exactly what she wanted and life wasn’t nearly as complicated and confusing. Of course, life doesn’t work that way. Whatever it is she feels for Damon isn’t going to just go away. She needs to figure out what those feelings are and deal with them. That goes for Stefan, too. IMO, she’s still in love with the memories of the relationship she had with Stefan before he left in 2x22… but I’m not sure he’s still that same man today, or that the Elena of today would still be in love with that Stefan. They’ve both been through a lot since then, they’ve both changed a lot since then. And you can’t go back in time no matter how much you might want to.

I'm glad they killed Finn he was a total bore. so if they had to kill one of them i was hoping it was Finn lol. I thought the bloodline vampire plot was a great twist, it forces actual consequences for our hero vamps. Also loved Caroline this episode thought she was really funny and was very sincere in scenes. And poor Bonnie, always the person who gets stuck in the middle of everyone's choices and has to suffer the consequences.

I think the show does a good job also, that Elena is showing her feelings for Damon in different ways and expressing them in these different ways. Jealousy we have seen twice, and both times have involved Rebekah. We have seen concern for Damon Twice, his life is more important than the mission, the second episode of the season, and this episode when captured by Rebekah and only Stefan convincing him that this was more important or that "Damon would want this" through manipulation did he stop her from saving Damon. What's always the most difficult before being able to express your feelings fully for someone is admitting the feelings, as well as the fear, which does come into play, what are my friends going to think if I do accept these feelings and express them, this of course comes up in her having to choose a brother, and losing the other as she admits. Out of the choices, which one do her friends support? Which one is the safer choice? As you bring up, there is the past history with one and then there is the unknown. Which also brings up that matter of admitting and accepting, no matter how much you want to return to the past, you can't, things change.
