(continuing my stream of consciousness commenting on this video). As to your half way pause, obviously since the episode is coming particularly from a North American story POV, you yourself won't have any kind of connection up front, but to have something to compare it to, consider Australia's history with the Aborigines. On at least a very broad brush level, what happened with them in Australia is quite a bit like what happened with the Native Americans the episode is talking about.

Sending positive vibes to you! Amazing reaction always! Again thanks for a FULL reaction I was hoping you’d make a FULL reaction for this episode and here’s me hoping to a FULL reaction to my personal favorite episode for this season the next episode “something blue” crossing my fingers. It’s okay you didn’t understand the Native American history aspect here in America, the fact u seemed uninterested in him as an enemy was basically me. Love how you keep calling Spike, “Spikey” it’s like your own personal nickname for him now. This is why he is such a fan favorite character spike is awesome in every scene he’s in, he’s such a fleshed out character can’t wait for you to experience him fully now. Also how great was he in that conquering nations speech? So enlightening haha. Also thank you for everything you do for this fandom I know it must be so busy sometimes to watch, record, then edit and post and I really appreciate you are awesome thank you we are blessed! 😀

I was so happy to see Pangs and IWRY up.

I really needed a pick-me-up. :( --> :)

"You made a bear!!!!" "I didn't mean to!" "UNDO IT! UNDO IT!"......LOLS a plenty. ;)

Michael Roach

I loved it, it took about 42 minutes but Spike got you to laugh uncontrollably. That made it all worth it...:).

WB

I kinda was annoyed with willow this episode. Xander is literally dieing and she is totally indifferent. Honestly, the crossovers are real hit or miss on how good they are. Spike is almost always entertaining though. “You made a bear!”

There's so much I love in this episode. I particularly love "You made a bear! Undo it, undo it!" "We came, we conquered, we felt really bad about it." and "You haven't murdered anyone lately? Let's be best friends!"

Chris Peacock

I’d say this is the weakest of the crossover episodes. I won’t comment beyond I Will Remember You, but I think they are both good examples of the range for the crossovers. I can’t think of one worse then Pangs, and I still enjoy Pangs.

Long story short: Thanksgiving - Pilgrims from Europe sailed to America to join the Native Americans (Indians) for Turkey and pie to show unity. What actually happened - Europeans invaded America, raped, diseased, and murdered all the Native Americans and stole their land, creating the America we have today.

Just donated! First full/early reaction watched and loved seeing you jam out to the theme song ❤ Something Blue is the next Buffy one and it's my favourite episode so I've really been looking forward to seeing your reaction (I hope you love it!!)

Totally forgot to write this part.... *grabs drumsticks and air drums along to theme song with ASR* .. ;)

Best part, both of the ep and of your reaction: Spike: A b-bear! You made a bear! Buffy: I didn't mean to! Spike: Undo it! UNDO IT!!! ASR: LOLOLOLOL!!!

The problem with this episode is the political and historical clash it invites. The English settlers were not the monsters they were made out to be, and real historical truth is far more nuanced than the Zinn-esque blather these sorts of things invite, but there’s little fun in this kind of discussion, and little to be achieved. Better to speak of the joy of crossovers!

Pretty sure Australia did something similar like the "puritans" did to the American Natives. To the aboriginals people. But I am not familiar with Australia.
