This was much better than the last season finale. There were a few bumps, like Starlight getting mad at Hughie, but thankfully that only lasted for a minute. I just take it as her being angry at the world at the moment and cooling off and thinking straight afterward. After all, she was kidnapped for 10 days, and that's traumatic as well. I love how the first time Kimiko spoke was when Frenchie was being taken away; it really shows how much she loves him. I didn't like Butcher killing Victoria. I don't like where his character is going, but I guess it makes sense; he was never really a good guy. I feel bad for Ryan because they just dropped seasons' worth of information about Homelander on him at once, and he just can't believe it. The old lady trying to keep him there was wrong for that. I feel bad that she died, but also, what did you expect? I can't blame Ryan fully; he was just trying to stop her from locking him up. So, is Gen V going to tie into the main show much more next season? That's going to be interesting. I love Sam, so I hope he eventually goes back to being good. I feel like he's being brainwashed. He was so sweet in Gen V until the end. I want that back. This finale makes next season feel like it could end up being the best. I hope they really take their time with the scripts so it can be perfect. I wouldn't call this season bad, but it does have dips that we normally didn't have. Now we wait 25 years for the next season!!

I think Annie getting angry with Huey for sleeping with the shape shifter was very believable. Situations like that- are there situations like that?- are pure emotion driven they have nothing to do with logic. Time and communication are the only way through that.
