Damn, Hughie is really being put through the wringer this season. I hope he and Starlight end up ok and her especially now. So, I thought the same thing about the octopus, why did it die all if a sudden, when it was on the bed before? I saw some comments online about it and did a bit of research on it. Turns out, they can breathe when out of the water for a short time, around 30-60 minutes. However, in order to do so, they have to prepare for it, by absorbing oxygen from the water through their skin. If you noticed when it was on the bed, it had a layer of water covering it. When Deep broke the aquarium, it was sudden and the octopus had no time to keep itself hydrated. TMYK, I guess. Speaking of Deep, man they just threw all away the conflict he was having before this episode and he is 100% on Homelander's side now. I think thought that it makes sense. He was not a good guy before and he still isn't. A-Train, I can see but a Deep redemption, nah. The fight between the Boys and Deep and Noir was awesome and I loved seeing Starlight beat the shit out of Deep. This episode was also less gross than much of the season before it. I'm sure though, that it won't last, especially since the season finale is next up!
