Axel's death has to be one of the most sudden deaths I've ever seen. There was zero foreshadowing and it was never built up to, not even subtly. I even like the detail of him being in the middle of talking when he was killed. That really highlights how unexpected his death was. I even forgot that he died then. I knew he wasn't in it long, but I didn't know when he died, so this shocked me just as much. Rick going crazy—I hope he can say goodbye to the Lori inside his head so he can get some closure and hopefully move on. I really wish she could have lived for a couple more seasons at least. I feel like it was too soon for her; season 4 or 5 would have had a much bigger impact with her added character development they were heading towards before she died. I love that they are showing how much more kind and level-headed Daryl has become recently, contrasting with how he would probably act in season 1. It's really a night and day difference and shows how much he has already grown. Merle is a cancer that corrupts Daryl, and I will never trust him. It looks like he might find a way to slither his way into the prison. UGH. Glenn being mad at everyone—I do think he's slightly out of character though. It's normal for him to be mad, but I feel like he's mad at the wrong things, and that's just something that Glenn wouldn't do. It's like all he cares about is if Maggie was raped, which is not like Glenn, who has been shown time and time again how sweet and caring he is to everyone. He's still my favorite character, but I feel they did him dirty with this storyline. He should be comforting Maggie and letting her know everything is okay and she is safe. It's a really heavy subject and barely any media portrays it well, so it is what it is, I guess. I just wish it was handled better, but it was also the 2010s, a time when things were edgier, so that could be why too. Yeah, I agree this was a good episode—very intense final few minutes and completely shocking. I love when shocking stuff happens when it makes sense, and we knew what he said to Andrea was a lie, so we knew he was coming, we just didn't know when.

I don't know if you noticed or not, the scene on the bridge when Daryl smashed the skull of a walker with the trunk door, his hands were covered in blood, after a second his hands were clean.

Ah ok ...I was wondering what Axel was in prison for ...So far I figured he was probably pretending to be a lot less of a criminal than he was letting on ....And given how he was around Carol and Beth earlier I thought he might actually be a serial rapist or killer ....But... Turns out he robbed a gas station with a water pistol ...A lot less bad than I expected 2. Sorry for the lack of Spanish subtitles for those few scenes ...Sadly I doubt there's a version out there where it say anything else than "Speaking Spanish" ....I feel like for a lot of Murican TV shows ...They either tend to be lazy when it comes to adding Spanish subtitles or perhaps it's expected that people know Spanish given that a minority of their citizens have a cultural background where it's spoken on a daily basis and that's it's taught in school aswell .....But yeah for us foreigners we have less of a clue as to what's going on and it'd have been nice if we had some context .........Then again ...Perhaps it's meant to give a feeling of ambiguity ...This is Merle and Daryl we're talking about... You have to wonder ...Have these 2 guys EVER. even ATTEMPTED. to try and learn the language of a people that aren't "their own" 3. Yip... This show does that a lot ...You'll start to like a character ...Or at the very least get used to them ..Or even think they're starting to bring 2 characters together ....And then BAM! ...Gone ...Taken out by a walker or another human at a moment you least expect it ...It keeps you on the edge of your seat though ...You never know when it might happen ...Aside from the ones you already know about ofcourse ...But it happens a lot more times than just then ...R.I.P. Axel 4. I was wondering the same thing ...FAAAAAAIRLY certain these guard towers are INSIDE. the prison fence ....So HOW. did one of the Governor's men get up there?? He would have had to have gotten THROUGH. the fence unseen ...And given half the group was outside ...I'd say that would have been damn near impossible ...How did he get up there? ...TV Show gotta TV Show 5. Aaaaand Daryl and Merle have made it back to the prison ...We've got the band back together ...Minus Andrea ...But ain't nobody give a fuck about her 6. And given that ending shot ...It looks like Rick has found a new purpose ...The Governor decided to pick a fight with the wrong group
