On previous episode: I hate the trope of bad guy stealing the good guys car while being chased. TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION PEOPLE. The Pastor got his side cut open in the fight 2 episodes earlier with the people from his past. I imagine it got injured further when Madani hit him with her car. Yeah, that Pastor is messed up. Beat up, cut up, hit by car, shot with shot gun, beat up some more. Por Senator, he got punched and kidnapped by Frank and all he did was have sex with someone. Stupid Amy, you are not going to be able to take on the Pastor by yourself. You couldn’t do it in the trailer and you had a shotgun there too and Curtis helping you. Looks like the tea pot was a MacGuffin. Yeah, the fall out the window was inevitable. Russo finally decides to hell with it, I’m leaving only to find his crazy therapist girlfriend dead. That was cheap writing. AT any point in this season he could have done that, but it just so happens he decides right before Russo catches on and the fight ensues and crazy girl dies. I expected better. On series as a whole: Good season, I know you were not huge fan of season 1 but I liked it. It had some surprises I liked. Some great action scenes and some good writing. It held true with a lot of the comics story telling with Frank periodically saving people in trouble for just an episode. Season 2 was still good but I think I liked season 1 better. I liked Micro. If for no other reason than he was referenced in Agents of Shield. Sky mentions him as a source she was using for information in Season 2 Episode 7. Overall, a really good portrayal of The Punisher. John Bernthal does a great job. I love the visits by Deborah Ann Woll, Amber Revah does an awesome job. The characters are well fleshed out. Where it sometimes lacks is I would have liked to see more side villains on the way, and Jigsaw (Russo) should have been more gruesome looking.

On this episode, there is a lot going on but it seems we're going to have to wait until the finale (of course) for any of it to be resolved. Too bad you won't be reading the comments for the last episode. I'm sure there will be a lot of excitement. On the show overall, IMO it is one of the better Marvel Netflix shows. Daredevil was of course still the GOAT and JJ was also really good. I don't think Punisher was quite as good as those but definitely better than IF and as much as I liked Luke Cage, he tended to be a bit too boy scout-ish for me. Punisher knew that in order to deal with the people that were as dangerous as the ones he was up against, he had to pull no punches. That is the whole point of the Punisher and the show really didn't hold back on being faithful to the character. I don't hold a lot of faith for if/when he shows up in the MCU but I guess we'll see.
