Im genuinely having a hard time remembering anything from last season, its been so long 😅 i enjoyed the episode im just confused

Well, they are really leaning into the parallels of American politics now. It used to be just a little more subtle but now it's blatant and on the nose. Trump being on trial (he is Homelander), him talking about liberals, the insurrection, the way they portray his supporters, how everyone is so at war with each other over it, etc. Now I understand why people are saying it's overly woke now but the truth is, they have always had the same views. It's just that before now, it wasn't so in your face. I'm glad though that they are going forward with it. The things they are saying honestly need to be said. You know for a minute there, I thought Butcher was actually being more human and realizing who was important to him when he was comforting and hugging Hughie because of his dad. Should have known though, he was just taking the flash drives. At least he didn't send them though, progress I guess. Yeah, there was a lot of conjecture about Erin Moriarty's plastic surgery. Watching the episode though, it's clear she did have work done. It doesn't look as bad as that photo that was circulating but it still is evident. Too bad. She was perfect the way she was. Kimiko is such a great character. She still loves Frenchie and wants what's best for him. She's saying to go for that Colin guy if it makes him happy. Most exes would not be that understanding. Plus she brought the other dude that's working with them some food. Speaking of which, who is that guy again? I don't remember him joining but maybe that happened in S3. It has been awhile. But yeah, she is so badass but such a good soul. Plus pretty damn cute! I also thought that they were going the direction of Homelander having an existential crisis, like is he on the right side? Is being on the side of Vought worth it. But no, he has his cohorts kill his own supporters and stage it to look like Starlight's supporters did it. Same Homelander as always.

Unrelated to everything else, Pretty sure it'll be "English [Forced]" you want for the subtitles to just show stuff like Kimiko signing but not have subtitles for everything else. Edit: Looks like you got it in episode 2. :)
