It's so strange, I've watched this movie several times, but after watching your reaction to this movie, I felt ashamed of myself.

I have seen this before of course. I've seen all the movies through #8 and then I just couldn't anymore. It just got way too dumb. This movie was probably the least unrealistic but it still had its share of problems, with juvenile humor, stereotyping of street racers and gratuitous NSFW stuff just because. You thinking it was just ok is more than fair. That's exactly how I feel rewatching it.

I first watched it when it came out on DVD. Holy crap, there were so many undercover cops, Paul Walker and Wu, Jordana Brewster and undercover CIA agent from Chuck, and Michelle Rodriguez a S.W.A.T. cop. Even Vin Diesel is a Guardian of the Galaxy. Neither Michelle Rodriguez nor Jordana Brewster had driver's licenses or even learner's permits before production of the film. The role of Mia Toretto was originally written for Eliza Dushku, but she turned it down. Good movie, Its not my usual fare but it surprised me. I would recommend some more in the franchise, depending on how much you enjoyed this.
