Introducing the first of the enemy monster girls! Your regular, garden-variety lamia, she's a cheerful, energetic girl who gives off an almost gyaru-esque aura. As a natural-born apex predator, she doesn't take life too seriously and spends most of her time goofing off, having fun, and snacking on local delicacies.

Unlike many other types of monsters, this breed of lamia isn't actively malicious towards travelers and generally won't attack unless hungry or provoked. They know they can find food whenever they want, so they're more than happy to make friends with any potential prey first. There have even been instances of them coexisting with human beings for long periods of time without any issue whatsoever. However, if one is feeling a bit peckish and decides you look like a tasty snack, your chances of escaping being churned inside her guts are slim-to-none.

In terms of gameplay, lamias are the game's first 'Large' sized units, meaning they take up at least two spaces in their predators stomach and can eat a very large number of units while suffering minimal penalties. Their stats are high across the board, and they can often vore your weaker units outright, making it important to block them with units that have high vore evasion or that are too full to be eaten. In addition, they're prone to eating their smaller allies, making it so they can grow in level without even engaging your team. In return, however, they're highly nutritious and digesting one will hugely boost a vessel's strength. While they aren't quite minibosses, they're a threat that can't be ignored and will require careful thought and preparation to defeat without losses.

Of course, as with most monster girls, they'll also be able to join your team, act as your secretary, and do virtually anything else a vessel can, too.

Excited to hear that enemy types can be recruited because that would have been my first question. Excited to see the full art (and her more aggressive cousin)
