A creature widely praised for its ease of consumption and snack-sized portioning, the goblin is a staple food group for much of the monster girl kingdom. Unperturbed by their status at the bottom of the food chain however, goblins are a hardy species with impressive strength for their short stature. They are known to hunt in packs and tackle creatures far larger than them, fighting their prey both from within and without until they are finally brought down and consumed. The hunt continues until all members of the pack have been sated, or until they have been digested by their would-be prey, a fate which is quite common for goblins.

As humans are the only species that they can easily devour, they have become a particular nuisance around human settlements. Consequently, they make up a steady part of the diet of adventurers and others who have received a goddess' blessing, with their war camps being a popular way to alleviate the hunger pangs of novices and veterans alike.

Despite their low standing, goblins have an unshakeable belief that the world revolves around them. As far as they're concerned, they are the main character and the world is their oyster. They fearlessly charge into battle with much larger prey, not because they're brave, but because they don't even consider that they may be eaten. Despite their gluttony and arrogance, however, they work very well together and are highly loyal to those that have earned their respect. That, along with their prodigious rate of reproduction, has made them a popular choice as minions for more powerful monsters.

GENERAL UPDATE:
They're finally here! It's been a long time since the last unit was added, and even longer since the last monster girl was. Since we already have some tough enemies to fight, I wanted to add some fodder in next to give your units something to eat, and what better than goblins? Similar to Corn, regular goblins will be weak enough to be eaten outright, however they'll also struggle until digested and pack more of a punch, making it more risky to devour them wholesale without weakening them first. Like the lamias, goblins will have several variations and, though they aren't all done yet, I'm looking forward to previewing the rest in the coming weeks.

As for the update schedule, this next update will focus on bug fixes, optimization of the main menu and lobby, and finally getting in the horse's weight gain. After that, I'll be reworking the battle system to be split into player and enemy phases as well as adding some QoL improvements and other features, then the next one will focus on adding in the goblins at which point .v11 will be complete. Thank you so much for all of your support!
