Update on Patreon Sales Tax (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Just to give everyone a heads up in case you weren't aware or need a reminder: Starting July 1st Patreon will be required by law to start charging sales tax on some pledges. This applies to some regions in the U.S and outside of the U.S. However, this form of sales tax does not apply to European citizens who already pay VAT sales taxes.

What's important to know is that less than half of pledgers will be affected, however, rest assured that if you are affected, the sales tax is only a small amount, so I would not worry about it. :>
