This is in the Zero/Stay Night timeline so no Apocrypha, but it would be about half a year to a year before Apocrypha on the equivalent timeline if that makes sense The kids in apocrypha were wraiths, a type of malevolent ghost, that made up the Heroic Spirit of Jack the Ripper. But honestly solid connection I dont think its a reach to hypothesis or think of that potential connection You writing notes shows how much of a true fate fan you have become Gray is 15, the same age Saber was when she stopped physically aging by pulling the Sword out of the Stone. I think Reines' eyes hurting is only when they turn dark orange, like as if they are hardening. Maybe the flames just signal the proximity, and not the volume of the magic.
