Higurashi clip - the anime splits up each arc as a question and answer. You’ll see what happens in the question arc then you’ll see why it happens in the answer arc. In that clip Rena is going crazy and killed a prostitute her father was dating and hid the body in the landfill. She thinks Keiichi the body (he didn’t) so now she needs to kill him.

So Code Geass Roze of the Recapture is a spin-off/Sequel, the OG Code Geass got compilation/summary movies that had slightly different events and had different ending to story, those movies got a sequel movie, and this show is a sequel to that movie.

New main MC, Not sure if any characters are returning, they have not shown or teased any, but the last spin-off (Akito the Exiled) did not tease any returning characters and had them appear halfway though in big roles

Higarashi is actually a great psychological mystery/horror anime/Visual Novel, can be very brutal thou if someone is not used to gore. The sister series Umineko is actually my favorite VN of all time beating out Fate surprisingly.
