A typical Chun-Li Day
Hello everyone My rest was delayed. The plans were to rest for the first half of the month and then enter the system, but I began to procastinate very much. And I didn't even notice how the month came to an end. Sorry that there were no posts. It's good that I insured myself and canceled payments for the first days of the month. I'll do the same for February. I will suspend charging so that the funds are not debited for a few days from tomorrow. Like last year, January and February are months of relaxation for me.
Anna animation:
Now I have already started to get involved in the workflow. Basically I've been doing render Anna animations all month. And I still do it. From what can be shown now is that I picked up an outfit for her. In my opinion, it looks good. I've been thinking for a long time between different styles of outfits.
But I stopped on this option. I also decided to invest my time a little in various online courses on animation and sculpting. And also learned about the more correct stages of lip sync. I will try to implement them in the unfinished scenes of Anna Animation.
I was also interested in simplifying the rendering process. I was wondering how much animation studios spend time rendering their work. After learning this, I realized who is the king here. Someone said that pixar spends at least 24 hours on 1 frame.Given their long cartoons and huge render farm it takes several years.
I'm trying to optimize the scene so that there is about 1 minute per frame. :).
Maybe I'll try to think about a small rendering farm.
Ai 4k Upscale:
I said I would test AI Upscale resolution for my old animations and here are the results.
The old permission is on the left, the new one is on the right.
Basically, the result is satisfactory. I made a 4k format out of standard 1080p animations and got a more detailed picture with fewer blurred details. You can notice at least on the animation of RE Ada and Frozen Elsa that the details of the face and clothes have improved. For Lady D, I may not have chosen the most successful frame for comparison, but everything is the same there. I have already translated several animations into 4k format and will upload them to the site within a few days. I can't say that I noticed much difference in the overall picture. But if it's possible to improve my old works a bit, why not do it. Processing of course takes a decent amount of time. But at least it does not prevent me from working on other things, unlike render animation. I also tried to translate the old 30fps Frozen 1 Else animation into 60 fps animation, but in some places there were local errors in the form of shaking the camera. And I gave up on this idea.
I attached the video to Attachments. You can see the difference better there.
Such a short report. I hope in the coming days I will be able to start posting the continuation of Anna's animation.
All the best, see you in the coming days. I'll try to get back in line. Don't get sick!
