I'm asking your opinion on monetization (Patreon)
Content
Guys, it's no secret that my stuff gets put on F95 and Kemono. I've gained some info on how to counter Kemono, but in the end, stuff will always be pirated no matter what I and others do about it.
I'm asking all of you: should we move to Paid Early access model? Patreon was always intended as a way to voluntarily support creators, but I also acknowledge that some may want exclusive access to stuff for their money. And I think that besides supporting the creator to get more stuff you'd potentially enjoy, some exclusivity would feel nice. However, in the end there is nothing that can be done to prevent unauthorized distribution of digital assets on 3rd party sites. As we always say over here: "If you can't combat it, take charge of it".
So I'm asking your opinion first and above all: are you fine paying for Early Acess of all the content and it be released some time later as free? Or do you want exclusive access to said content and it not be available to anyone who hasn't paid? Because in the end, with .var files for VAM there is little we can do to limit distribution unless VAM itself deploys a system that helps us (and I doubt that would work either).
At least the ones getting it for free would be getting it from me, with my quality standarts and bug fixex, would have a chance to try it out and see if they would want to join this nice community, instead of me fighting them and them fighting me. I think Paid Early access seems a fair way to adapt to reality.
