Greetings my dear Patron,

I jumped in the pool for the first time this year and it was exquisite. Obviously, I also got embarrassing sunburn on my face and shoulders and officially have 'tan lines' if you consider red and white stripes tan lines, hah.

Thankfully I had enough lotion on that it is just an annoying sunburn and not a painful one. I feel like I make that mistake every year. When will I learn?

I have been working on EB and will have a nice chunk of the Valentina Chapter ready for you this week sometime. Look forward to that. The more I write about Val the more I feel bad for her. Am I too cruel to my characters? That is an interesting poll idea. Curious to hear that you think about that.

Just finished writing that poll and had a little too much fun with those answers. I am always thankful for your responses to my polls and input. I primarily write for myself and sometimes experiment in one direction or the next, but can lose my way no doubt. So getting a bit of feedback always gives me something to think about.

So I am sure you can guess that our friendly secretary Valentina is in a bit of a state, but what kind of state will something that you will have to look forward to later this week. Part of me wants to really put these characters through the emotional meat grinder and I have plans to do so, but part of me wants to make them suffer, borderline traumatically. I don't think I have the guts to do it though. It is meant to be a story to get off on. Too much existential dread about work and bosses and real-life shit isn't always a mood-maker is it...?

Anyway, more delicious suffering of our resident bosom-blimp carrier later this week. Look forward to it!

Ta ta~

P.S. That was a red hot reference and a low-key promise on what I will be doing to the characters in my stories. Whether they are in the mud, broken, and crying, or just crying, or just generally bummed about it is why I am taking the poll. *Mysterious white eyeglasses reflection*

What SPF was your sunscreen? I've never had a burn when I remember to use it.

I am fairly certain it was in the 40's, but I did a lot of swimming and failed to reapply which was my downfall.
