Holiday Island 0.1.8.2 beta has been released (Patreon)

Hi guys and gals,

the second bug fix and content update for 0.1.8.0 beta has been released.

It includes all the fixes and new content from this post:

This is an update for the version 0.1.8.0 beta (PC and MAC only).
In case you are new to the game, you need to download one of the main game files version 0.1.8.0 beta (PC or MAC) from the links on my main patreon page:
https://www.patreon.com/darkhound1

Save games from 0.0.8 alpha and later versions should still be working. Older saves are no longer supported. Some saves might still not load. Sorry for that, but there is nothing I can do about it.

Please download the update to 0.1.8.2 beta from the attached file or one of these links:

To apply the update, please extract all files from the zip archive to the folder where you installed the full game. Overwrite all files when asked.
For Mac users, please navigate to the folder structure:
HolidayIsland.app\Contents\Resources\autorun
Inside you find the folder named "game". Copy the content of zip file into the "autorun" folder from above.

Sorry, attached the wrong file. It should have about 15MB. If the one you downloaded has 45MB, please download it again. The corrrect file is named: "Holiday_Island_update_to_0181.zip"

When can I see an android version boss. If you get enough patreons will you have someone to work the let me see your boobs bug on all the girls. Well android issues in general the game actually plays great on Android just the boob bug that I've noticed

I've already written it, there won't be incremental updates for the android version, because it's not possible to create them. It probably was not a good idea to release the .0 version (which most of the time have some bugs) as an adroid version as well. So next time, I will wait until 0.1.9.1 before an android version is released. The next android version will probably be 0.1.9.1. There is no date yet for that version. You can expect something like 4 to 6 weeks from now. There is just me and there will always be just we working on the game. I will put a poll up soon about the use of android versions to get a better idea how important it is in general.

Ok cool thx man awesome game love the challenge even without having the mod to help with quest tracking and stats hopefully it only has the one bug still in a month. All I did was hit ignore then it continued.

You're welcome. The poll is already up :) If there are enough android users, I will put another one up to ask if you want Wilson's mod included in the android distribution or not.

Thank you for the update! I've been having massive crash issues since 1.8.0. All over, not one thing. Hopefully this fixes it. If not, I'll try starting over.

I got 2 errors, I will send you the tracelog on F95. One Lacey error ( a sound file is missing and one Désire Lapdance error ( wrong file extension ).

I get two inconsistencies with this version: 1. You can interact with (i.e. “talk with”) the receptionist when your phone is open. 2. When Brenda is on Doctor duty you can meet her elsewhere on the island.

Hi, 1) It's the same in other places (e.g. doctor) In that case you probably don't notice it the same way, because the doctor is not hidden by the phone. If it's easy to change, I will change it. But I don't think it's a big problem. 2) Are you sure the doctor's office was open during that time she was elsewhere? I have never seen anything like that myself. After 16:00 the doctor can be seen anywhere on the island.

So when installing the contents of the zip file, do I replace the folder labeled "Game"? Because doing so means the game won't load, and tells me "Couldn't find file 'archive_0181.rpa'"
