This is why Kouhei is legit. Confesses in episode 15 XD. Even better that she remembers so it doesn’t get reset back to the status quo. Age-wise Hazuki is 1,300 yeah (she’s a tiny dinosaur lol). Kouhei’s direct age has never been stated. But we know he’s out of high school. Most likely he’s in his early 20’s.

Putting this in a separate comment since it’s gonna get a bit complicated. But on the Hazuki/Luna question. That depends. Because the girl you were seeing in this episode wasn’t one or the other. It was both of the personalities merging together. Luna on her own while still more mellow is also much more confident and sure of herself than this. Neither of them are this docile and hesitant. That only started because of their personalities merging and thus them getting extremely confused and scared. Hence the “who am I?” question they kept asking. This is also why they were very confused on their feelings for Kouhei. Since Luna never got to truly know Kouhei and still viewed him as sustenance until this point, but they still share memories with each other. So, you also had Luna’s confliction mixing with Hazuki’s feelings. As Elfriede said, Hazuki’s father had created an alternate persona (Luna) via the pendant. A personality that wouldn’t want to ever leave the castle. The spirit you were seeing there at the end was the essence of the pendant’s spell itself rather than Luna, trying to convince her to mindlessly return to the castle. In Kouhei’s confession, he acknowledged both of them. Which resulted in Luna saying she loved it here and becoming separate from the pendant and the two personalities merging together permanently. The imagery of the pendant being broken pretty much just symbolizes that the spell has been broken. So it’s like she said at the end. Hazuki and Luna are both her at this point. So if you mean, do I like this mixed version more than initial Hazuki, then yes I do. But as for Luna herself, (before they were merged together). Then, I actually liked Hazuki more since we didn’t we really see much of her. She was only in episodes 1, 2, and 9. And then this happened, so yeah. I know this is a really long explanation to a simple question. But I couldn’t think of any way to answer it, considering the circumstances XD.
