Hey everyone. This is a post I never wanted to make but recently it keeps getting brought to my attention from users here on patreon and through twitter that drawings I post here keep getting posted around on various subreddits and boorus. I understand the fact that this is pretty much always going to happen eventually, leaks are common all around the internet but it is disheartening to me to see various posts I make for each tier appearing pretty much instantly as I post them here.

Everyone here on patreon is amazing for helping to support me for what I do, so in return I like to give you all early access to drawings and some exclusive stuff. However with this content being uploaded to public spaces instantly like this it feels unfair to all of you who support me to see these exclusive pieces. I know some of you are happy to support me either way regardless of getting exclusive content but that doesn't mean everyone is.

I know it isn't something I can stop but I just thought I would address it. I'd really appreciate it if it wasn't posted around like this until it's made public.

I agree with you 100% Dross. I hope the people who are leaking, realize they are hurting you. Just like in the world of video games and movies, leaks are bad for business.

I really don't understand the mentality of people like that, you're paying for something exclusive and you're just giving it away to a bunch of people who are not going to pay for it... such a waste of money.

I think there are bots in many patreons doing this. I've seen patreons having a "bot-buster" tier, simply blocking anyone that joins it (which is described in the tier rewards) cause it's likely a bot that only joins to spread their content.

I originally found out about your work from Gelbooru leaks. It does suck that people are insta uploading them though they should just wait a few weeks to keep the Patreon kinda exclusive. Happy to keep supporting regardless.

The problem is you have so many subscribers. That means you will have a larger chance of shitty subscribers who want to be internet heroes all the damn time. Nothing you can do about it honestly. People are terrible things.

Yeah it's really lame that people leak... I'm here to support your work though: early access is a nice perk but I think most of us just want to keep you drawing so we're not going anywhere haha

i see it quite often in a lot of the nsfw discord servers i'm in, and it's a little disappointing to me as well. i'm happy to support you whether i get to see exclusive pieces or not, but there's undoubtedly gonna be people who support you just for that

I think people who want a guarantee that no one else can see what they can can, if not question why it's so important to them, at least accept that you have no means to provide it. I'm sure it's difficult to try to balance the conflicting demands of different patrons, but making something initially visible at a tier and then pulling it without warning seems almost spiteful.

That wasn't my intention, it was initially a mistake that I fixed once i realised, but really I should have just left it once I had done it. I've changed it back.

For my perspective: I actually found out about you on a booru, and loved your pieces so much that I wanted to support you and have a voice about what content you do when. Just because I COULD get your wonderful art for free somewhere, doesn't mean I won't support such a talented artist. I'm willing to bet there will be others like me, too, who find your work elsewhere and then look you up on here to support you. I think the people who are really into your work will support you regardless of whether we get exclusives or not. Keep your head held high, and keep on making masterpieces.

I only found out about your patreon from your watermark on a booru. It introduced me to your style, but it was still your work that got me to pledge to support you. I look forward to more of your work, and I'm glad I was able to find it. I'm also glad to support you even if your stuff can be found for free.

Those will always be around. Just remember that it also counts as advertising, as long as you put on a watermark pointing to here. I've seen enough of your stuff floating around, but I didn't know when they were from, or even if you were still making things. Then (just recently) I ran across one that had a watermark pointing here, and now here I am. Note the people releasing stuff instantly into the public probably are subscribed to you here, just the same as they're subscribed to everyone relevant on fanbox and lots of other places. Where does your stuff come from that ends up on panda? I don't know. None of the stuff I've seen there has a pointer to patreon. Heck, some don't even have your name on them, so presumably they aren't recent.

Revisiting this post, it's a little odd. You're sort of half trying to frame it as asking on behalf of the patrons who want exclusive pieces (how numerous are they really, to matter so much?), but you also say that *you*'re disheartened by leaks, and that *you*'d appreciate it if they stopped. You should really consider that you're one of the most successful lewd artists on Patreon, being "disheartened" that people like your work so much they can't wait to share it with other people.

I get what you're saying, and a lot has changed in the 2 years since I made this post so my perspective has changed on a few things. I don't really want to make a reply justifying what's in the post but it's how I felt at the time when I wrote it. I don't think what I said was unreasonable.

It also can be chance. I only know you because of the leaks on rule34 and now I'm a tier3 supporter. I think people who don't want to support someone, won't start if leaks would stop. Just my thoughts.
