The problem with conservative comedy is they're so excited to get to the "anti-woke" part they forget to setup an actual joke. Their audience comes into these videos with an expectation, they reinforce it, and that's it. There's nothing else here, which is a shame as someone who actually likes laughing. I used to follow babylonbee because some of their videos were actually funny and well produced. Then they started repeating their bad gender joke in every video and spread stupidity. Maybe their joke writer died or they got bought by Rupert Murdock to exclusively make jokes for Fox News viewers.

The last joke with the cuban was actually kind of depressing. The thing was supposed to be a "gotcha!" when he gets to have a drink delivered to him but it I just paused it and felt miserable for a minute. I could probably still recite the pledge of allegiance now, even after being out of grade school for like 7 years. We really had to say that shit EVERY day of school for years 💀 I think I assumed every country had a version of it they also recited. I think the repeating the same joke over and over again desensitizes a lot of people so that the next time you hear it it sounds less ridiculous. If you trusted the babylon bee, at least a bit, It makes it a lot easier to convince you later on if you've heard it so many times

The reason why they keep repeating things in very basic terms, besides the fact that their audience is moronic, is that they’re also trying to appeal to kids.
